Lovely meal from my wife

Soup
Soup
Today there is something unusual with my wife. She wakes up early in the morning, and go to the market. A day before, she told me that she wanted to make delicious meal for me. I thought that she was joking, because she never do this before

She buys everything that are needed for that delicious meal. She will make my favorite soup, soup that she usually makes when we were in university. This was my old story, we used to cook our own meal to save money. Haha…

I studied with my wife in Yogyakarta, very lovely city. Then after graduated from university, we went back to Bali and work there. Busyness of working make she has no time for cooking. So when today is holiday and there is a lot of free time, she decided to cook for me.

She knows well my taste and my favorite food. She makes it carefully so that the taste is fantastic. I am glad that she will cook for me. I have been waiting for so long to eat her cooking. She is the best chef in my life.

At first, I am afraid she had lost her touch in cooking after so long she had not cooked this soup. When she told me to eat that soup, I wonder how it taste was. And…. I am surprise. It is really good. I love this soup, just like the soup that I usually eat when I was in university. She is back.

I eat this soup enthusiastically, full of passion. It is like drinking in the oasis on the desert. It satisfies my desire… I hope my wife will always cook for me..

Thank you Putri…

Tegenungan Waterfall

Bali offers so many natural attractions for those who come to visit this beautiful island. One of those natural sceneries is the waterfall.

How many waterfalls are there in Bali?
Many...

But in this article, we will focus on the waterfall that can be found in Gianyar Regency.

Tegenungan waterfall

Yes...
It is called the Tegenungan Waterfall.

This waterfall located in Banjar Tegenungan, Kemenuh Village, Gianyar, Bali.
Now we can understand where the name of this waterfall comes from.

From the parking area, you only need to walk a bit. On both sides of the walking path, we can find many vendors sell souvenirs, food, drink and ice cream.

Then the waterfall will unveil itself.

To reach it, we must follow so many steps. These steps can be categorized as steep. So you must be very careful along the way down.
Take it easy.

If we feel tired, take a break and catch some breath.

Important!
It would be better for us not to swim in the waterfall. The water current is strong. Stay within the safe distance, follow the order from the sign, and stay safe.

How to reach

To reach this waterfall is not difficult. From the Sukawati art market, it just takes about 10-20 minutes by motorcycle or car.

Or, if we come from Denpasar, it will take 30-40 minutes ride.

All the way near to the Tegenungan waterfall, you will see a beautiful view alongside the road. Coconut trees make a line on both sides as if they welcoming everyone that passing by.

Many people do jogging, cycling, walking, or just enjoying the view. The ricefields on the left and right sides also provide a beautiful wonder.
If the season of rice planting comes, this road will show its most eye-catching sight.

It feels like a vast green carpet stretches with its end nowhere to be seen.
I love to enjoy this view.

Surrounding situation

The situation in Tegenungan is very calm and so relaxing. The wind blows softly, that it will make our mind tranquil.
I have a soothing feeling when arriving in this waterfall.

Firstly, I would like to enjoy the view from the top before going down to the waterfall. I spend a while, watching green lush trees on top of the hill.

After that, we can walk the steps down to reach the waterfall.

The river after the waterfall is piled with so many different sizes of rocks, big and small, that come in different shapes. We can spend time here, sitting on the rock, to enjoy the waterfall.

Of course, we can shoot some photos.

Don't forget the stone balancing view.

Many creative hands pile up the different sizes of rocks and make a short rock tower. It is so interesting.
Would you like to try?

Food and drink

Don't worry about this.
There are several vendors that are ready to serve our groaning stomach. Choose which type of food you like.

Feel thirsty?

Mineral water is a common thing to distinguish our thirst. And we can also try the young coconut fruit that has very refreshing taste.

Menyebrang Jembatan Tukad Bangkung

Memotong rumput pastinya menyenangkan.

Pastinya pemandangan tambah asyik..
